Dear Brethren,

No doubt you will have heard about the race evening which will be a major Surrey Provincial occasion, in fact the first time we have staged such a prestigious public event which Lingfield Park says attracts close to 8000 members of the public.

The Province is sponsoring the seven races, race card and we invite Lodges or Businesses to sponsor each one. This enables the sponsor to name the race, choose the best turned out horse before each race, present a cash prize (£50) to the groom and after the race present the winning owner and jockey with their prize in the winner’s enclosure.
Surrey Freemasonry will be advertised around Lingfield Park and each race will be televised live on the SKY race channel. We will have all three Provincial Display Stands in strategic positions to engage with the public, raffle tickets will be on sale with three fantastic prizes, the star prize being a one-week holiday at the Four Seasons Fairways luxury resort in the Algarve, Portugal.

In addition to the above we have the Pavillion Suite to host 130 diners for a three-course dinner. During dinner we have the well-known artist Jason Nembhard a former singer with The Drifters who will sing numerous Drifters songs and others by Lionel Ritchie.

The last race is at 9pm following which an open-air concert begins in the grounds featuring the world acclaimed Michael Jackson tribute act.

We have just been able to reduce the cost to £75 per person which is extremely good value for money.

This is going to be a wonderful evening and we need your support to help make it a success, please do your best to organise a table of ten or the organisers will do their best to place you on a table with those you know, I look forward to seeing you enjoying yourselves and supporting the Province.
