Lodge Welcomes Brighton Visitor

Visiting other Lodges is a key feature and important part of Freemasonry.  Some say this is how the fraternity grew so quickly in its early days.

Given we are so close to his birthday, it’s also interesting to note it was a feature of Robert Burn’s masonic life, visiting and travelling prolifically.

Looking at the signing in book, it was reassuring to see we had four visitors attending our meeting of whom, W.Bro Malcolm Robinson’s guest W.Bro Kevin Gillet, from Templar Aquila Lodge No. 9450 who meet at Hirst Minu (near Hailsham) attended.

W.Bro runs his own business and is a Past Master and current Director of Ceremonies of his Lodge. During the Festive Board, he was warmly invited to stand and respond to the visitor’s toast and said,

It has been a wonderful meeting, the work in the temple was fabulous, the performances were great and you have all done yourself proud
